Vosges Mountain Motorcycle Tour

The tour group will assemble outside the EuroTunnel terminal main building where you will be met by your tour guide. After short introductions and a quick briefing we will make our way to the train.

Once in France we hop straight onto the motorway to make a quick transit through northern France towards Cambrai, our first coffee stop of the day. Taking our leave of the motorways we make our way through the beautiful rolling French countryside with its fantastic vistas and even better riding.

Let the fun begin!! After breakfast we start our day’s journey on some brilliant biking roads. Corners, both hairpins and fast sweepers, are the feature of the day. We will twist our way up to over 4000 feet for some great views across the Black Forest and the Bernese Alpine chain. With little traffic to interrupt our journey we will enjoy a day of every type of bend imaginable.

With a permanent smile on our faces we will make our way to Guebwiller, our next overnight stay for a few beers and to relive the day with fellow riders.

If you thought that you couldn’t enjoy a day on your bike more than yesterday’s experience, after today you will change your mind. We not only climb higher via the Col Du Ballon and the Route des Cretes but we find more hairpins and more panoramic vista. Up through one of the highest passes in the Vosges, at over 4600 feet, it is what every biker lives for. Sights as far as Jura and the French Alps on clear days. After lunch we make our way out of the mountains down onto some of the best smooth sweeping bends you can ride, flicking your bike left and right to hit each apex perfectly, massive fun.

After a night of sharing stories, a few beers and great food we wake to start our journey home. Although there will be a motorway today, do not lose hope, we will spend all but the last hour on some great biking roads as we make our way across Northern France.
